Compatibility Notes  

This cable is designed for connecting M.2 NVMe SSDs (Key M) to PCIe 4.0 x1 host interfaces. Ensure the host system’s PCIe slot supports PCIe 4.0 or earlier versions (3.0/2.0) for backward compatibility. The cable provides integrated power delivery, eliminating the need for separate power connectors for the SSD. Note that PCIe 4.0 x1 bandwidth may limit the maximum performance of high-speed NVMe SSDs (e.g., PCIe 4.0 x1 theoretical bandwidth is ~2 GB/s, while a PCIe 4.0 x4 SSD can reach ~8 GB/s). Verify SSD power requirements, as some NVMe SSDs may require additional power beyond what the cable provides. This cable is not suitable for SATA-based M.2 drives (Key B or Key B+M).
