25GBASE-BX20-U SFP28 Optical Transceiver Module (SMF, 1270nm-TX/1330nm-RX, 40km, LC, DOM).

Compufox SFP28-25G-2733-40KM is a professional-grade Upstream Bi-Directional (BiDi) module designed for 25 Gigabit Ethernet and 5G optical fronthaul (eCPRI). By utilizing an advanced APD receiver, this module provides the high sensitivity required to maintain a stable 25.78Gbps link over a single strand of fiber at distances up to 40km.

Important Installation Note: This is an Upstream (BX40-U) module. To establish a link, it must be used in a pair with the matching 25GBASE-BX40-D (1330nm-TX/1270nm-RX) Downstream transceiver.

Technical Note on Distance: To achieve the maximum 40km reach , Host FEC (Forward Error Correction) must be enabled on the networking equipment. Without FEC, the reliable transmission distance is approximately 30km.
