Cisco CAB-SPWR-150CM 150cm Catalyst Stack Power Cable

The Cisco 150cm Stack Power Cable connects multiple switches with StackPower technology in order to share power between them. Switches with StackPower Technology allow for power supplies to be stacked as a shared and common resource. By using this StackPower cable, you can connect switches with the StackPower technologies. This is different from the StackWise-480 cables. The StackPower can be deployed in either power sharing mode or redundancy mode.

StackPower Cabling Configurations

This section describes the recommended cabling configurations for a StackPower stack. There are two types of StackPower cables.

The cable in the figure connects a switch to another switch in a power stack or with an XPS. StackPower cables have color bands on the cable ends:

• The cable end with the green band can connect only to a switch.
• The cable end with the yellow band can connect to a switch or an XPS.
