This MPO trunk cable is a factory pre-terminated 12-fiber multimode OM5 MPO patch cord for limited space cabling. It features high-performance MPO-12 female connectors and an OM5 optical cable for optimal functionality and reliability. The MPO-12 connector is roughly the same size as an SC connector but can provide up to 12 times the density, thereby providing significant space and cost savings. Additionally, it offers consistent user quality, much faster installation, and simpler cable management.

The OM5 fiber is the first certified WBMMF (Wide Band Multimode Fiber) specifically for high-speed data center applications. It fully complies with all OM3 and OM4 standards but with the additional Differential Mode Delay (DMD) requirement to correct modal and chromatic dispersion.
